ORKUN ERNALBANT
Orkun Ernalbant, founder of Orkay Mühendislik, was born in Kocaeli in 1980.
He started his career while he was still a student at Kocaeli University, Department of Metallurgical Materials Engineering. He worked as an intern engineer at Poyraz Raspa Boya, Solventaş Teknik Depolama AŞ. and Metel Surface Protection companies for the maintenance and repair works of the Bosphorus Bridge. After his graduation in 2004, he decided to specialize in the marine paints sector and started working as a paint supervisor at Cemre Mühendislik, which currently operates as Cemre Shipyard continued. He accelerated his goal of specializing in the field of paint by working as an inspector at Akzo Nobel -International company. Afterwards, he had the opportunity to work as a paint manager at Ereğli Shipyard and as an owner representative in South Korea with Aktif Denizcilik.
With the decision to transfer his experiences in the field of paint to the industrial sector, he worked as a paint inspector within the Metka company at the RWE Turcas Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant in Denizli Kaklık region in 2012. During this period, he founded Orkay Mühendislik with the aim of meeting the needs in the sector and making a difference in the field.
Orkun Ernalbant, who holds the Frosio certificate, one of the most valid competency certificates in the field of paint applications, speaks English.
He is married and has a child.
